There are a variety of types of camouflage patterns for different terrains, yet there is no universal type of camouflage. While outside of its intended context, camouflage no longer serves its purpose of disguising the wearer and it instead calls attention to the subject. This project seeks to explore the concept of assimilation and standing out by creating site-specific camouflage. The project is a collection of patterns that are interpretations of specific landscapes that are printed onto cloth and then constructed into wearable disguises.
This series of printed objects are inspired by specific neighborhoods and architecture of Wrocław, Poland.
